Mark Ferdman thinks app markets are unnecessary
“Apps are going to die away in favor of simple mobile websites,” said Mr. Ferdman, chief executive of Pushkart, a start-up he launched early last year that offers discounts for local merchants through an application for the iPhone and other smartphones. Biting the hand that feeds him, Mr. Ferdman said, “Steve Jobs has done a great job of creating a marketplace that is unnecessary.”
